complete data loss from projects file and iCal, suggestions welcome

yesterday I upgraded to OOP 3.6.1 beta. When I synced my projects file it lost a few, then (on progressive iterations) eventually all my actions taht had contexts. When I tried deleting OOP 3.6.1 and reinstalling 3.6 it did the same thing.

So I deleted and reinstalled both kGTD and OOP 3.6.1. When I tried syncing a backup copy of my projects file it did the same thing - by now it reliably deletes every single action that has a context, every time.

At this point I discovered that my iCal file had also lost every single future event. This is puzzling because kGTD doesn’t interface with events, only with the todo list. So I tried deleting all my iCal files and every file associated with my iCal files, and then syncing a backup copy of of my projects file to the brand new empty iCal file.

However, this didn’t help. It created calendars for all the contexts in my projects file, but it deleted all of the actions again.

I have tried to upload the projects file so that Nathan can take a look but the “sample document” dialogue doesn’t seem to be working (when you have a file in it neither the “Preview” nor the “Submit” buttons work). So I can’t show anyone the file.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
