My thinking is that if I assign a deadline/context to a project in the Project view, all the actions and sub-projects underneath will assume those values and iCal will propogate accordingly. However, it seems that I have to set these for every object in order form them to appear in my calendar.

Is there a way to set contexts and deadlines enmass? What is the problem with my assumption?

Thanks!

I like to avoid the bug by setting both date columns to calculate a date from the tasks below it. This “calculated date” is displayed on the screen and in the printout; however, it appears that OmniOutliner does not set a hard piece of data into the field, which means that the “disappearing actions” bug does not occur. Just a way to protect me from myself.
