First of all, I’m new here. Name’s Gregg.
I love GTD - got the book, read the book.
Just bought OO3 Pro.
Just loaded kGTD - a few days ago.
Just scrapped everything (after exporting my stuff to RTF) and started from scratch.
Did some experimentation, and discovered what I had been missing:
In Projects, a level one action IS a project.
This is counter-intuitive to me.
As I said above, perhaps I’m dumb, but I expected to be able to enter a level one line, give it a context and a project label, and then sync and see it show up in the action list. But no …
I understand how it works now: level one isn’t a project until you add a child line; then it is.
As I said above, this seems counter-intuitive to me.
But now that I know it, everything’s fine — just hunky-dory, as my sainted grandmother would have said.
So why am I posting? Just to say that someone should make a note of this and explain it.
It wasn’t in the vid, at least, I don’t think it was.
Like I said, I can be rather dense at times.
Like, for instance, I don’t know where else to put this, so I’m posting here.
Thanks for listening.
Gregg

It’s not explicit in the current video, but the examples in the video show this structure.
I suggest you add this as a question or a question and answer to the FAQs.
