My Nokia 6230i is due for upgrade, and I’m shopping around for a new phone. I noticed Ethan saying a while back he was using a Sony Ericsson k700i. I’m considering the K800i, but I’d be happier knowing other people’s experiences first. I’m resigned to needing a moleskine for collection, but at the moment the 6230i’s calendar is so crap I end up with two calendars - iCal/kGTD and a moleskin one that I ‘sync’ each morning by hand! Crackers…

So…. kGTDists… what is your electronic weapon of choice when leaving the house?

Candidates so far for me are (3G is a requirement, and I’m in the UK)… - Sony Ericsson k800i (tiddly screen - another 6230 in disguise?) - Palm Treo 750v (not sure about windows mobile - too complex?)

thanks all!

I do have the K800i, which syncs fine with the help of some 3rd party iSync extensions. You should be aware that the K800i is in very good phone (in my opinion), but definitely not a PDA replacement. A bad thing for kGTD is that the K800’s Todo list seems to be limited to about 80 entries. This is usually less then I have to sync.

Don’t get a Motorola. No To-Do support.

The Sony P800/900 series do an excellent job handling To-Dos.

Any of the Windows Mobile or Palm devices work fine with The Missing Sync. I imagine Blackberries do, too, but I haven’t tried them.
